Free Pumpkin Drop-Off

Held annually for the two weeks following Halloween, our pumpkin drop-off program allows residents of Scott County to recycle their pumpkins and gourds during regular business hours—free of charge. Items must be free of all non-compostable materials, including decorations and candles.
The drop-off program diverts thousands of pounds of pumpkins from the landfill and contributes to the creation of our high-quality compost.
