We are pleased to invite you to tour our state-of-the-art composting facility. Many types of groups benefit from this learning experience. Due to the safety of our participants, we do not recommend our tour for guests under the age of 10.
Other details about tours to know before requesting a booking:
- Tours are free of charge.
- Tours are offered between 8am-3pm, Monday through Friday.
- Allow up to one week for approval.
- Duration of a typical tour: About 1 hour. Includes a 30-40-minute presentation inside and 20-minute walking tour of the yard.
- Minimum tour group size is 5, maximum group size is 30.
- Hard hats, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests are provided when needed.
- Please arrive on time as it keeps us on schedule for the entire day. If you are running behind schedule, please call to inform our staff.
- Filming is not allowed on the premises.
- Please submit tour requests in advance as tour spots fill up quickly.
- Please note that conditions may be dirty, dusty, or muddy depending on weather conditions. Appropriate closed toe footwear is required.
- Yard Tour: Walking tours or driving tours are available. Walking tours are weather dependent. Driving tours require a bus to be provided.
